Here (with the blue doors) Vincent and Theo van Gogh lived for six years.
This was the site of the Moulin de la Galette, subject of Renoir's famous painting of an outdoor dance.
This is the Lapin Agile, hangout of Guillaume Apollinaire, among others.
And this is a tiny vineyard, right in the middle of Montmartre! They make wine every year and auction it off for charity.
I also saw, but didn't photograph, the site where Picasso painted the Demoiselles d'Avignon (you know, the most important painting of the 20th century?!?).

Dear Amelia, Beautiful pictures and a wonderful break from your "other life" to remind yourself of the depth of your complete life-mother, wife, professor, friend, daughter, author, sister and traveler, among many other things. Love, Grace
I am so fortunate to have all those components to my life. I give thanks every day!
