We're heading off tomorrow for our last vacation of the summer, a week in the woods in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia. Let's hope we're all mostly over our sinus infections, snotty noses and hacking coughs! I will report back in a week. Meanwhile, my discovery of the day is that dinner is extremely peaceful when you eat after Agatha has gone to bed. I hadn't quite realized just how demanding she is and how stressful it makes dinner. Tonight she went to bed early because-- for the first time ever, I think-- she refused to take her afternoon nap. That girl turned one and threw herself into the toddler zone. She is high on life and wants everything she sees. Whew! Anyway, we had such a nice time chatting with Henry that we've decided to make it a regular habit to eat just the three of us, at least a couple of times per week.

Y'all will have a wonderful time in West Virginia! The weather should be mild and it sounds like your cabin will be great plus all those wonderful places to hike. The kids will love it.
I can attest the Aggie is growing up! She is lively, opinionated, wants to do things herself (big surprise!), is interested in everything she sees and wants it all too!
A beautiful little girl and I think it is great that she has the personality to make her opinions and feelings known! A total delight!
Your vacation plans sound great. Sorry about the testy germs you have been fighting, but living, breathing and being around people seem to multiple the chances of every germ having their fun with you. Agatha looks like a great toddler--since she made a great baby too, this year should be full of firsts for her, yet again. Love, Auntie Grace
