Usually I don't pay too much attention to the weather predictions, because the weather is generally mild here. But I'm glad I went to the grocery store and stocked up yesterday, because we got LOTS of snow today-- about a foot, with more predicted tonight. Totally awesome and wonderful to have a big snowstorm on a day that none of us were traveling or needing to go anywhere or do anything. We played outside, made peppermint bark, and ate lasagna for dinner. The Texans enjoyed it, I think!

It was a very fun and snowy day. The kids had a great time, as did the adults. So nice that we could walk around the corner to Amelia's so the kids could pay and we could enjoy her great lasagna!
