Brilliant son, part 2

Two examples of Henry's math work.  He's now completed the kindergarten math workbooks!  At his parent-teacher conference last week, we also saw his "composition book," in which he had written words like "cockatoo" and "parakeet" and "chrysanthemum."  Those words are copied after reading exercises.

Sounding it out: this was a picture Henry made for Michael, and at the top he was starting to sound out and write "Daddy,"  and at the bottom, "from."  He also (on another sheet) wrote "CNDL," sounding out Agatha's babysitter's name, Kendall.

Finally, some examples of his art: he started making these map-like drawings out of nowhere, one after another, a couple of weeks ago.  He still isn't much interested in representational art but he is an avid abstractionist!

This is one clever boy and good-looking too. I think he will go far-your Auntie's unbiased opinion. Auntie Grace
